– La Troienne Stakes (GⅠ Dirt 1710m)

⚙️ Improved logic for race pace assessment and control

We reviewed and improved the internal logic for race pace assessment and control.
This update is mostly an internal refinement, so the overall feel should not change dramatically.

In previous versions, once the pace became “fast,” it could often escalate into an “extreme” pace.
We have adjusted this behavior to reduce excessive escalation.

Also, in the final straight, the top speed of the finishing kick is now slightly more influenced by the pace earlier in the race.

🛠️ Fixed an issue where horse and jockey animations could freeze

We identified and fixed a rare issue where horse and jockey animations could stop (freeze) during gameplay.

🔍 Added a gender filter to the horse filtering feature

On the “Add Horse” and “Horse History” screens, we added a gender filter:
Colt/Horse, Filly/Mare, and Gelding.

This should make it easier to find the horse you are looking for.

🧩 Fixed an issue where the back of the pack could fall too far behind

We fixed an issue where the pack—especially horses with “stalker/closer” running styles—could fall too far behind the front group during races.

Depending on the situation, a gap of a few lengths can still happen, but we have taken measures to prevent excessively large separations seen in previous versions.

📘 Updated horse information

Horse information has been updated up to:
Arima Kinen (The Grand Prix), Tokyo Daishoten, and Silk Road Stakes.

🔧 Fixed minor bugs

Various minor glitches have been fixed.

🏇 Bonus Column: Fun Facts about Churchill Downs (and the races)

(Here is a little extra reading—this section is optional and does not affect the update details above.)

1) Why Churchill Downs is so famous

Churchill Downs is best known as the home of the Kentucky Derby and the iconic Twin Spires.
It is a legendary venue where “pace, position, and timing” matter—perfect for enjoying the dynamics of dirt races.

2) Highlights of each race

🏆 Kentucky Derby (Dirt 2012m)

The biggest stage at Churchill Downs. The race can feel intense from the start, and small pace differences can change everything.

🌸 Kentucky Oaks (Dirt 1810m)

A prestigious race often described as the “Derby-day weekend” highlight for fillies.

🔥 Stephen Foster Stakes (Dirt 1810m)

A power-and-stamina test. Strong rivals often appear, and the race tends to reward solid fundamentals.

👑 La Troienne Stakes (Dirt 1710m)

A very “pace-sensitive” distance: too fast and you fade, too slow and the front doesn’t stop.

⚡ Derby City Distaff Stakes / Churchill Downs Stakes (Dirt 1408m)

1408m is not a pure short sprint—it’s a speed battle with an important finishing phase.

🌿 Old Forester Turf Classic Stakes (Turf 1810m)

A turf race where smooth acceleration and positioning can matter as much as raw speed.

4) Why Ver1.26 changes make these races more fun

With improved pace assessment and occasional breakaway attempts by certain rivals,
the “story of the race” can change more often—especially at a venue like Churchill Downs.
Try different running styles and see how the race develops!
