🇫🇷 Added Saint-Cloud Racecourse and races

Saint-Cloud Racecourse has been added, and you can now play the following races:
– Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud (GⅠ Turf 2400m)
– Prix Royal-Oak (GⅠ Turf 3100m)
– Criterium de Saint-Cloud (GⅠ Turf 2000m)
– Criterium International (GⅠ Turf 1600m)
You can enjoy a wide range of French turf races, from classic middle-distance and long-distance battles to 2-year-old GⅠ races that test future potential.
👀 Changed the View-switch button display during races

We changed how the View-switch buttons are displayed during races.
Previously, pressing the View button during a race would expand the buttons for changing the camera/view.
After this update, the View-switch buttons are shown by default.
This display can also be changed in Settings.
We have added a “View UI Always Display Mode,” allowing you to choose between:
- Always showing the View UI
- Controlling the View UI with the View button

This should make it easier for players who often change the view during races.
📺 Improved the ad-loading display when getting horses
We improved the display shown when ads are still loading on the “Get Horse” screen.
Previously, when an ad was not ready yet, it was difficult to tell whether the ad had already been loaded and was standing by, or whether it was still loading, unless you actually tapped the button.
After this update, when an ad is still being prepared, the loading status and automatic retry guidance will be shown on the button, making the current situation easier to understand.
We are sorry for the inconvenience caused when ad delivery became temporarily unavailable after the previous update, when the number of users increased rapidly.
Even now, we have confirmed that ads may sometimes not display correctly depending on the device or timing.
This appears to be related to the ad delivery system we use, and we are continuing to investigate and work toward a more fundamental solution.
🏇 Added a whip-hand lateral movement restriction in the final straight

We added a new rule for lateral movement while using the whip in the final straight.
While the whip animation is playing, you can move in the direction opposite the hand holding the whip, but you cannot move toward the side of the hand holding the whip until the whip motion has finished.
For example, if the jockey is using the whip in the right hand, the horse cannot move to the right during that whip motion.
After entering the final straight, please use the whip-switch button and change hands carefully depending on the situation.
This should make the final-straight controls feel a little more realistic and tactical.
⚖️ Fixed a logic error in the weight allocation system
We fixed a logic error in the weight allocation system for special-weight races.
The carried weight should now be applied more correctly according to each race’s conditions.
⏩ Added the “Last 200m” point to replay skip options
We added the “Last 200m” point to the replay skip options.
When watching a replay from the final straight and using the Skip button, the replay can now jump to the final 200m point.
This should make it easier to check close finishes and the final burst before the goal.
💨 Fixed an issue with runaway lead logic
We fixed an issue with the runaway lead logic.
After the previous major update, the runaway lead control logic was not working correctly, and horses without runaway lead aptitude could sometimes take a big lead too easily.
With this fix, horses without the runaway lead trait should be less likely to open up an unrealistic runaway lead, making the difference between horses more meaningful.
📘 Updated horse information
Horse information has been updated up to the Takarazuka Kinen and the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes.
We will continue updating horse data based on actual race results and other information.
🔧 Fixed minor bugs and made various adjustments
Various minor glitches have also been fixed.
Display and UI adjustments
– On the race record screen, horizontal scrolling is now supported when data does not fit on the screen.
This makes it easier to view hidden information and tap the replay button on smaller screens.
– Race grade/group, age/sex conditions, and carried-weight conditions have been added to the race card and race results screens.
– The weight type is now shown in the detailed information on the race selection screen.

– The Settings screen UI has been adjusted to make it easier to read.
The item sizes and spacing have been refined so that more information can be seen at once.
– Spectators have been added to each racecourse.
This should make the atmosphere during races feel a little more lively.
Race behavior and balance adjustments
– Fixed an issue where the minimum speed could rise too much after the final 1000m, making it difficult to drop back in position.
This especially affected stalker/closer-type horses, and has now been improved.
– The positioning judgment for running-style mismatch has been strengthened.
A mismatch of two or more positions will now be shown in yellow, and a mismatch of three or more positions will be shown in red.
Please try to keep your horse in a position that matches its running style as much as possible.
– Stamina correction logic has been readjusted.
This especially affects long-distance races and Ascot-related stamina correction.
– CPU behavior for stalkers and closers has been improved.
At higher difficulty levels, CPU horses will now judge pace and timing for their move more accurately.
– The accuracy of margin judgment at the finish has been improved.
– Measures to prevent horses from passing through each other have been strengthened.
This should greatly reduce cases where horses pass through each other during forward/backward movement.
– At higher difficulty levels, the inside route will now be less likely to open up from the final corner.
Previously, the inside route was adjusted to open more often based on feedback that it was too difficult to break through the pack.
However, we also received feedback that the inside route had become too open, so the chance of the inside being closed has been increased at higher difficulty levels.
If you want to aim for an inside run more often, we recommend playing on Normal difficulty or below.
– The maximum automatic acceleration speed on the downhill part of the final straight has been adjusted.
This adjustment mainly affects Epsom Downs Racecourse.
Since the final straight at Epsom Downs includes a long downhill section, horses could previously reach top speed too easily even without using the whip.
After this update, horses will no longer automatically accelerate all the way to the whip-assisted top speed.
Replay and control fixes
– When changing replay data from “Protected” to “Auto,” it will no longer be deleted immediately even if the save limit has already been exceeded.
This change was made to prevent accidental deletion.
Instead, if the number of saved replays exceeds the limit at the next save timing, older replay data will be deleted first.
– Fixed an issue where the left/right movement button could remain pressed at the start of the next race.
Even if you finish a race while holding the left or right movement button, the input should no longer carry over to the next race.
🏇 Bonus Column: Fun Facts about Saint-Cloud Racecourse and the races
Here is a little extra reading—this section is optional and does not affect the update details above.
1) What kind of racecourse is Saint-Cloud?
Saint-Cloud Racecourse is located just west of Paris, on the hill of Saint-Cloud.
It is also known as the Hippodrome du Val d’Or.
It is a left-handed turf racecourse, and the course is described as relatively flat and fair, with a track length of about 2300m.
Rather than relying on extreme elevation changes or unusual course shape, Saint-Cloud has the image of a racecourse where overall turf ability, positioning, and timing of the move can make a big difference.
2) Highlights of the added races
🏆 Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud (Turf 2400m)
The Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud is one of the signature races at Saint-Cloud.
It is a Group 1 race over the classic mile-and-a-half distance, the same broad distance category as the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe. France Galop describes it as a major race for experienced horses aged 4 and older, and as part of the route toward the Arc.
In the game, this race should test more than just raw speed.
Stamina, positioning, and the timing of your final move are all likely to matter.
👑 Prix Royal-Oak (Turf 3100m)
The Prix Royal-Oak is a long-distance Group 1 race over 3100m.
France Galop describes it as a Group 1 race for horses aged 3 and older, created in 1861, and run over 3100m.
Because of the long distance, using too much energy early can make the final stretch very difficult.
Try to ride patiently, manage stamina carefully, and wait for the right moment to move.
🌱 Criterium de Saint-Cloud (Turf 2000m)
The Criterium de Saint-Cloud is a Group 1 race for 2-year-olds over 2000m.
France Galop notes that the race was created in 1901 and is run over 2000m, making it a historic race that tests young horses over a relatively demanding distance.
For a 2-year-old race, 2000m is quite a serious test.
It can reveal not only early speed, but also stamina and future middle-distance potential.
⚡ Criterium International (Turf 1600m)
The Criterium International is a 2-year-old race with a strong “future star” feel.
France Galop describes the modern version as having been created in 2001, with the first edition run over 1600m. The race was later returned to 1600m from 2020 onward.
At 1600m, the race requires a good balance of speed, positioning, and finishing power.
It should be a fun race for checking the quality and potential of young horses.
🎮 3) Saint-Cloud gameplay tips
Saint-Cloud is not the kind of course where one unusual feature completely decides the race.
Instead, it should reward solid riding fundamentals.
- In the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud, avoid moving too early and try to save enough energy for the finish.
- In the Prix Royal-Oak, stamina management is especially important because of the 3100m distance.
- In the Criterium races, the horse’s maturity, distance suitability, and finishing power can make a big difference.
- Since Ver2.1 adds a whip-hand movement restriction in the final straight, switching the whip hand and choosing your lane at the right time will be even more important.
Please try the new Saint-Cloud races and enjoy the tactical turf battles!
